- If you argue with him, he will become more aggressive and violent.
- Get out of your marital relationship and in-laws, build a new world of your own on the outside.
- You have to decide how much you will and will not tolerate your husband’s violence and anger.
1. Get out of the conflict situation
When you see your husband getting angry, surely you are also preparing to engage in verbal war with him? Stop! Instead, remove yourself from that situation. Keep calm and ignore his harsh words. If you argue with him, he will become more aggressive and violent. So put all your emotions aside and end the argument with a cool head and a calm voice.
2. Build a world beyond marriage
In many cases, you may have told your mother-in-law or sister-in-law about your husband’s abuse. But it may be that they have never seen such an aspect of their child or brother. In such a situation, they cannot even think in a neutral way. It may also be that if you sit down with them to discuss your husband’s angry disposition, they will not believe you. This will make the problem more complex. So get out of your marital relationship and in-laws, build a new world of your own outside. Gain the support of a friend, a close relative or a trusted person by speaking your mind.
3. Also review your usage
Honestly review how much you or any of your traits are responsible for your husband’s anger. In addition, your husband will often blame you for his own failures or for the mistakes of others. But don’t get all these insults head on. Judge for yourself how guilty you are, and you are not responsible for any of the other activities. If you want to apologize for your mistake, do it, get out of there.
4. Build boundaries around yourself
You have to decide how much you will and will not tolerate your husband’s violence and anger. Let your husband know if he is suffering any more than that. You must adhere to this boundary.
3. Don’t be afraid to come out
Many women do not dare to get out of the situation even though they know that their arguments with their husbands are approaching. Just as you value your husband, learn to value your own safety. Whenever you realize that your husband can put his hand on your body, get out of there.
If you are a victim of domestic or sexual violence after marriage, report it to the local police station. Don’t be afraid to get out of any unhealthy, dangerous situation. Remember, you can make your own life beautiful.
